Hahei Beach House

This holiday home is divided into four buildings to keep a discreet small scale appearance and allow guests to be separate from the family bedrooms. The main living pavillion faces the beach with a central Coroglen stone fireplace that divides the kitchen/dining and living areas. A two storey building that faces the beach contains the family bedrooms. Behind this a two storey building contains a family room with guest bedrooms upstairs. A paved courtyard sits between the living and guest pavillions to provide a sheltered area on windy days. The last pavillion is a long garage that accommodates a tractor and boat hooked up on the trailer so that the client can drive to the beach after setting the boat up in the prior evening.
