Waterview Primary School
Waterview Primary School is being completely rebuilt as a result of the Waterview Tunnel project. The school is being built along the north boundary to form an acoustic barrier to traffic noise, but this creates issues of sunlight admission into the teaching spaces. The design has a series of two level clusters that are at right angle to a brick exterior wall. Courtyard spaces between allow improved sunlight and passive ventilation.
